Jade Villalon

Jade Villalon, known professionally as Jade, is an American singer-songwriter and former frontwoman of the R&B/pop group Jade, which gained prominence in the 1990s. Born on April 21, 1976, in Los Angeles, California, she is recognized for her powerful vocal abilities and smooth harmonies. Jade rose to fame with the release of their debut album, "Jade to the Max" (1992), which included hits like "Don't Walk Away" and "I Wanna Love You." The group’s blend of R&B and new jack swing garnered critical acclaim and commercial success, earning them a Grammy nomination and a dedicated fanbase.
